Urban Rivals

Urban Rivals is a free browser-based trading card MMO for Mac, Windows and Linux where players collect virtual character cards and do battle against other players, compete in tournaments and build up their collection of powerful cards for every occasion. Each character card features a unique set of attributes and skills which can be unlocked and/or improved by leveling up the card. Each time the player does battle with another player, the cards used gain experience points and move toward the level cap. There are four levels for each card to progress through and the level is displayed on the card in the form of stars; a one star card being the lowest level and a four star card the highest. Also, each time a character gains a level, they get an entirely new look to go with their new higher level of power.

The MMO for Mac is playable in a web browser with no additional downloads or lengthy installs. Simply create an account and log in to receive your first eight cards for free and begin playing right away. Players can choose to use only their first eight cards and become as powerful as they can by fighting battle after battle, or the player can become a trader, trading cards with other players and buying new ones from the website. Most players choose to be somewhere in between, fighting and improving their current collection whilst purchasing new ones along the way. It is important to note that you don’t need to spend any money at all to enjoy this compelling MMO for Mac and you can play for as long as you like. The only expense is in gaining new trading cards through purchase from the site and is optional.
