Developed by Riot Games, League of Legends was chosen as readers choice of the year 2009 by IGN and gamers choice of the year 2009 by GameSpy. League of Legends shares many similarities with the extremely popular WC3 mod DotA. With that being said, You will not have to be surprised to find out that this may turn out to be one of the best 3D MMO for Mac and Windows you have ever played.
In this free to play Mac/Windows 3D MMO , you will have the option to choose one of the games many champions and compete in multiplayer team-oriented matches. Though League of Legends is not set in a persistent game world I still would like to call it a MMO. You have the ability to gain experience throughout the matches, that you later on can use to open up more champions for example. And All matches are ranked so you can easily check your stats and compair them with your friends.
What makes League of Legends so special is the explosive gameplay and thriving teamwork which in the end will be the difference of winning or loosing. Check it out I promise you that you wont be disappointed
The release date for League of Legends is not yet set, but it is anticipated to be released mid 2011.

I enjoyed the video, however a gameplay video would have been more useful. Still, the screenshots helped with getting a feel for the game.
