EVE Online – 3D Sci Fi MMORPG for Mac

EVE Online is an open-ended Sci-fi MMOG (Massive Multiplayer Online Game). Most MMORPG’s takes you through monotone and repetitive quests and leveling. What makes EVE so much different is how much impact you as a player and the community has on the game. Economy and Balance in the universe is all based on how players act.

The ultimate goal of the game is to gain power. Political, financial or social power, military dominance or control over the market and it’s trade routes. In EVE you can become a mighty military commander , success full miner or maybe a pirate? The choice is yours, you determine your destiny.

In EVE Online you get to choose between 4 different corporate/military powers to be affiliated with:
Caldari, Minmatar, Amarr or Gallente.

Minimum system requirements for EVE Online:
* The client does not run on a PowerPC (G3/G4/G5), MacBook and the Mac Mini.
* Supported hardware is 2009 MacBook, MacBook Pro laptops, Mac Pro machines and iMacs. All these machines meet the following minimum requirements below:
* CPU: Intel based computer with CPU speed equal or greater than 1.8GHz
* OS: OS X 10.5.6 or later.
* Video: ATI X1600 or NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT or higher with 128 MB of Video RAM
* RAM: 1024 MB or more
* HD space: 6.0 GB
* Network: 56k or better Internet connection
(EVE still runs smooth on my old MacBook even if it’s not supported.)

Recommended system configuration for EVE Online:
* CPU: Intel based 2 GHz or better
* OS: OS X 10.5.6 or later
* Video: ATI HD2600 PRO or NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT
* RAM: 2 GB
* HD space: 6.0 GB or more
* Network: Broadband Internet connection
