Business Tycoon Online (BTO) is a full-featured free online business simulation MMO for Mac and Windows that runs in a web browser. The player arrives in the world of Liberty City as the owner of a newly founded small business and must attempt to grow the company into a thriving business empire through entrepreneurial activities and business acumen.

Although the premise is simple, Business Tycoon Online is one of the best MMO for Mac games in the simulation genre. The artwork quality is very high, and the designers have clearly thought about each gameplay element carefully before adding it into the game. There is so much to do in BTO that players are sure to never be bored. You can open a multitude of different stores to bring in revenue (there are over 100 types!) and must you hire/fire employees, attend business meetings and much more. Of course, where would a tycoon be without his secretary? In Business Tycoon Online you get to hire your very own attractive secretary (male or female) who will stay with you and help your business to succeed. Of course you can also live the entrepreneur lifestyle with super cars, fancy suits and the like but you must make sure you keep a good relationship with the media or they may just eat you alive!

The game isn’t just about single-player activities though; as an MMO simulation game BTO incorporates many social activities that enrich and enhance the gameplay experience. Through networking, forming business ties and even a touch of friendly competition among rival tycoons the game allows you to enjoy the company of friends or compete with them in building the best business. Once you reach a certain level of power and success within Liberty City you may even be voted into City Hall where you can exert more influence over how the city is run. Be careful not to tread on anyone’s toes though or you may end up getting impeached by other players.
